At the Commencement Exercises of the Class of 2009 of Saint Edmonds' Academy held on June 7, 2009  Randall received the Lancer Award.

The Lancer Award is given to that student who best exemplifies the Core Values of a Holy Cross education.  Always emulating a spirit of respect for self and others, the Lancer Award recipient displays a sense of responsibility, independence, integrity, self-esteem and builds community.  The faculty and staff, through the process of voting, selects the recipient of this award.

The Lancer Award for the Class of 2009 was presented to Randall Schiccatano.

St. Edmond's Headmaster, Michael A. Marinelli, presents Randall with the Lancer Award.  Doctor Marinelli served as Headmaster of St. Edmond's Academy 2003 - 2010.  In 2010 he will assume the position of Archmere's Headmaster, the first non-Norbertine in the 77-year history of Archmere to hold the post.
